The vegan platter was delicious! Don't skip the coffee as well, I think it's the best I've ever had and is served with a sugar-dusted popcorn that pairs so well. Thank you for a lovely meal!

Great Ethiopian food, tasted authentic if a tad milder than I've had elsewhere. A little gem in Bergen if you want to switch things up from scandi food on a trip. Great vegan, gluten free and of course plenty for meat eaters too.

One of the tastiest meals I have had in my life. The flavours were so well balanced. Everything was subtle but you could taste it all. Recommend the mixed plate so you can try a bit of everything. Thank you for a great experience.

Found this little gem using Google. The street and local area it is situated in is lovely with some unusual shops, cobbled streets and interesting alleys. The café/restaurant itself is tiny but very inviting. We ordered the shared plate for two which is enormous, as we hadn't tried Ethiopian food before and fancied a little taste of everything. We loved the food, so tasty and filling. The young woman who served us was delightful and the chef guy came out to check we were enjoying the food, he was lovely too. We also tried the Ethiopian coffee which was very intense and earthy, but also refreshing. All in all one of the best meals we've had in Bergen and a reasonable price too...can definitely recommend!

Ordered combination platter. Overall good taste and spice. If you are very picky with meat texture, stick to the vegetarian plate. Delicious meal with some tea to wrap up the night.

Lovely authentic and warm atmosphere with delicious food and friendly service. We had the dried braised lamb and the vegan sampler. Absolutely delicious! Highly recommend this restaurant for anyone in Bergen looking for a true Ethiopian food experience!

This was good fun to have an Ethiopian diner. First time to eat without fork 😀 I had the vegetarian plate . All was very tasty. Don’t hesitate, try it. It is a very cheap journey to Ethiopia . Staff is friendly and efficient
